The United States is full of uniquely designed villages and towns that can transport visitors back in time and remind them of a simpler time in our history. Here are a few villages on the Southwestern side of the country that offer guests a glimpse into our nation’s past.

Ferndale, The Victorian Village: California
Recently named one of America’s prettiest towns by Forbes, this thriving dairy community is located in Northern California between the two redwood forests.
