Litchfield is home to two of the Illinois sections most historic sites including the Artison Café and the Skyview Drive In Theater. The Artison has been named by one noted author as the “best the old road has to offer”. Serving food since 1924, it is a tradition handed down in the family for generations. The Sky View Drive in is the last remaining drive in on the Original Route 66 and is still showing movies today.
